Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a very slow and gentle practice that is designed to return the body back into balance, thereby allowing both rejuvenation and healing to take place. Multiple props such a bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps are used to fully support the body so there is literally no effort required, allowing a complete release of body and mind. As a practice, Restorative Yoga is very passive, as opposed to the more active styles of Yoga, allowing for the student to move significantly inwards to exert real change to the body, mind and spirit. The focus of restorative Yoga is keeping the body free from stress of any kind.
